With my latest re-location/expansion I've been able to expand my gift lines and accessories, which makes for a lovely shopping experience and gifts for all ages & celebrations too.
I host my Chrissie's Gatherings 14 times a year locally at the Myrniong & District Community Hall, just a 10 minute drive from Ballan.
I also host two Retreats at Sovereign Hill Ballarat in April and September yearly.
You can book your very own Sit & Sew with friends in store - maximum of 12, where you can improve your skills, learn something new or just sit & sew with friends. Or join in one of the many In-Store activities that run every month.

Cancellation -
Moneys paid are non refundable, money paid can be moved to another date if your spot can be filled. If your spot can not be filled you forfeit money paid.

Christine Lethlean - is a practising artist, tutor, mentor and is the reginal coordinator of the annual Textile Palette Exhibition held in Clunes, Victoria. Her 'everyday' work in textile art is varied and incorporates an array of themes and techniques. Christine works with needles and threads as her creative tools and will be sharing all her knowledge with you over the two day workshop.

Please note the above contact details are for sewing related & stitch component enquiries only.
I am not a travel agent or affiliated with the cruise company or have any control of tours, bookings or schedule of the ship. However I am happy to suggest and give ideas, but ultimately you need to use Guest Services or the Shore Excursions Team to assist you with extra activities that you might be interested in taking part in off shore. Most ports will have a shuttle bus service, sometimes there is a fee sometimes not, however there are Taxi & Uber services available too. Adelaide has a great Train that takes you straight into it's City.
However I am happy to share information on the local Patchwork & Quilting Stores in the area, the only problem is they are very rarely close by, but nothing that can't be achieved by sharing a Cab or Uber ride with a few others. But be aware the cost can be up there. One trip for 8 of us cost us $50 each for a half hour drive each way.($400 for the 8 of us). Then on the other hand we paid a total of $16 return for 4 of us, 10 minute drive each way.
Requirements for Stitch Component - Please pack your personal sewing kits of pins, needles - embroidery size 8 or your favorite needles, needle threader, thimble & fabric scissors & make sure blades are no longer than 4”.
If you like to work with an embroidery hoop, please
bring a small one.
A battery/rechargeable sewing light – this is a must as lighting is not always
optimum for hand stitching.
Sewing glasses if you wear them.
Please feel free to bring along your own stitching/project
too.
I will be supplying everything else you need -
instructions, kits, tools & supplies.
All projects are hand stitching only and we gather at our designated space on At Sea Days only. You will receive a detailed Itinerary just before we sail.
Remember - You are on holidays, and you may want to leave the vessel and go out on a tour or take part in other activities the ship has on offer - Bingo, A Show, Shopping, Trivia, Massage, Pedicure just to name a few and you can check out the Ship Schedule for a full list of daily activities on offer.
You are free to come and go during the Workshop Sessions/Sit & Sew Sessions and we will break for lunch at 12pm to 1pm during Workshops.

I thank Australia for allowing my Great Grandfather to arrive here in the
1940’s, followed by my Grandfather, Grandmother & Father in the early
1950’s from Greece.
They came with the clothes on their backs & worked day & night to help
build Australia and give their families a life filled with opportunity. They
instilled a work ethic, community spirit & greatful hearts in us & I’m
so thankful they chose Australia as their forever home.
